GCCCF Helps "Close the Gap"

The Greater Chattanooga Colon Cancer Foundation took part in the 16th Annual Minority Health Fair on Saturday, August 18th at Eastgate Town Center. This event drew thousands of attendees and included 125 vendors that had a common mission to educate and empower minorities, along with the entire community. The GCCCF Board was well represented with our Chair, Dr. Shauna Lorenzo-Rivero, Vice President, Dr. Marshall Horton, Helen Pinkerton and Alison Sexter, and shared the importance of colon cancer screening. Captain Colon and the giant colon were in attendance and were as always a big hit!

The GCCCF would like to extend a thank you to our volunteers, Howard and Laura Grody, for helping us spread the message that colonoscopies really do save lives!
