GCCCF Mission

Here at Greater Chattanooga Colon Cancer Foundation, following our mission of working with community partners, the GCCCF will raise awareness, provide education and support, and accelerate community understanding that colon and rectal cancers are preventable, treatable, and beatable.

Our vision is for a community where every eligible person is screened for colon cancer at the earliest appropriate time.

Connecting Chattanooga

All locally raised funds stay in the community to expand screening access through partners like VIM and Project Access for uninsured and underserved individuals.

Colon Cancer is Rising

Colorectal cancer is rising in people under 50, but many cases are preventable with regular screening that catches cancer early or removes pre-cancerous polyps.

Meet our Team

Founding board members recognized the need for education and prevention because colorectal cancer is preventable, beatable, and treatable.
